Raw Brownie Chews

March 24, 2023 by Lee Hersh Leave a Comment

I’ve been on a raw, no-bake kick lately. So easy and so good! I’ve made something similar to these a few times over the past 2 weeks, but never got around to blogging about them because I’d eat them too quick to take photos!

I call them Raw Brownie Chews because all of the ingredients I used are raw, they taste similar (SIMILAR) to brownies, and they are chewy little guys! They are definitely a LOT healthier than normal brownies and take a lot less time to make. Win-Win situation, no?

Raw Brownie Chews

Ingredients

  • 1/2C Raw Almonds
  • 1/2C Pitted Dates
  • 1T Raw Cocoa
  • 2T Raw Honey

Instructions

  1. Place almonds in a small food process or and process for about 30 seconds or until your almonds are finely chopped. Then, add the rest of the ingredients and pulse for an additional minute. Form dough in to balls and eat! If it is having trouble sticking, add a little bit more honey.

I got a little creative and added my thumb print to some of them. I also thought about adding jam to the middle. Maybe next time!

One las thing before I hit the hay. Check out the difference in photo quality. The above photos were taken as the sun was going down and a few clouds were out. The bottom photo was taken at around 2PM, when there was direct sunlight.

Crazy.

Blake and I are getting up super early tomorrow morning to catch a flight. No one guessed it, but we are off to the Tampa Bay area for Blake’s step sister’s wedding!

Any recommendations from you Floridians? Tampa Bay? We will have a car and don’t mind driving. I need places to eat and things to see!
