DIY Sangria

It’s Monday already….galll whiz. Each weekend keeps going by faster and fast! This past weekend was a fun one. Saturday we went canoeing all day (see yesterdays post) and had a birthday BBQ for Blake. And Yesterday, Blake and I went to Grillfest (Thanks for the VIP passes Gold n’ Plump Chicken!!) and to my good friend Ashley’s graduation party. While it was really fun…I ate a lot…and not the best food. I ate a LOT of dessert and drank 2 days in a row (which I haven’t done in years)!

I’m excited to get back to a normal eating routine this week.

One of the yummy (and actually healthier) drinks I made for Blake’s party was a DIY Sangria.

I’m usually a white wine drinker, but I’ve bene trying to rotate between red because of all the health benefits it provides!

Sangria is actually a lot easier to make than you would think. I don’t think there is a right or wrong recipe…but I really enjoyed the one I came up with!

DIY Sangria

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle red wine
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 2 cans sparkling water
  • 2 oranges, sliced
  • 1 lime, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Ice

One last thing before I let you go…I have one more drink for you to O0o and Ahh after. I made a delicious and refreshing Raspberry Orange Spritzer for the Anytime Fitness blog. Seriously- I could drink this all day. It’s non alcoholic and an easy way to spice up your water

Those raspberries were so perfectly sweet! Melt in my mouth!

That is all.
