Turkey Lurkey

Mama Hersh decided to name to the turkey “Turkey Lurkey,” and lets just say she is-a-roastin’ in the oven as I blog.

I got up extra early this morning to help… aka watch… my mom and grandma prepare Mrs. Turkey Lurkey. I made breakfast while they stuffed and stitched that bad boy.

Banana Cocoa Oats
*Serves 2

1/4 C oat bran
1/2 C Old Fashioned Oats
1 Sliced Nanner
2 C Water

Toppings

1 T PB
Handful of Raisins

I closed my eyes on this part.

A few sips of boxed wine for Turkey Lurkey.

^Love this part. Italians add wine to everything.

Here is a little piece of advice: Don’t feel guilty about your eats for today! Thanksgiving is just one day out of the year. Enjoy yourself, your family, and the food!
