Banana Split for Breakfast
GOTCHA!
As much as I like ice cream and frozen yogurt.
I LOVE oats. I love the texture. I love the taste. I love how satisfying it is. I love that it cheap. I love oats so much, that I would pass up ice cream for oats.
Who wouldn’t, for this…
I can have my cake and eat it too…
I had a little too much fun with breakfast this morning. Let’s just say I spent my Friday night scheming different toppings for this baby.
Oatmeal Banana Split
A banana split requires a few essentials in order to reach perfection. Lets break it down.
ice cream —> oatmeal
sprinkles —> black quinoa
chocolate syrup —> peanut flour carob sauce (1T peanut flour + 1/2t carob powder + 1T almond milk)
salty peanuts —> cocoa roasted almonds
gummy bears —> raisins
I’ll admit, I was missing whip cream and a cherry on top. Nonetheless, my taste buds weren’t complaining.
Today’s Tentative Agenda
-Core Power Yoga with the sis (It’s been way too long)
-Laundry up the wa-zoo
-Homework
On a lighter note. Like CFF’s new heading and tweeks (twitter, fonts, etc)? Nicole from Cookies and Carrots inspired me to “Pimp My Blog.” I’m still working on a few more things! (This is why I am so far behind on all my readings for class…oops.)
